CHSA
Newcel Paper are proud members of the The Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA).
The CHSA represents all the major manufacturers and distributors, from global multinationals and national networks to privately owned independent businesses.
The CHSA has driven up standards, making it possible for buyers of cleaning products to be sure when they buy Accredited products that what’s on the box is what’s in the box. All members adhere to the code of practice and the Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes for Soft Tissue products, to make sure our customers get what they pay for.
We have gained membership of the CHSA through initial audits of all our products, labels and quality control procedures conducted by the Scheme’s Independent Inspector. We were then audited four times in the first year of membership and at least twice annually thereafter.
ISO 9001
We are delighted to have held the ISO 9001 Management System with SGS for the past 20 Years.
ISO 9001 is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement and sets out the criteria for a quality management system.
We are particularly proud of our team as in the past 15 annual audits we have had NO major or minor non-conformities.

We laminate our centrefeed rolls using nothing more than pure water – a process called ‘Hydro-lamination’.
By NOT using glue, we remove the risk of glue chemical contamination from all food preparation areas.
Disposable paper products used in the foodservice sector and the food manufacturing industry must comply with European Community Regulation No.1935 2004.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
We are proud at Newcel Paper that all our toilet tissue, jumbo and mini-jumbo rolls are fully FSC compliant and work rigorously to adhere to their high standards.
As the pioneer of forest certification, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sets the standard for responsible forest stewardship. Their policies unify a diverse set of stakeholders around common guidelines for forestry that are:
- Environmentally appropriate
- Socially beneficial
- Economically viable.
EU Ecolabel
All of our raw materials are sourced from audited, sustainable and responsible mills who are registered with EcoLabel.
The EU Ecolabel is the official European Union voluntary label for environmental excellence. Established in 1992 and recognised across Europe and worldwide, the EU Ecolabel certifies products with a guaranteed, independently-verified low environmental impact.
